Fireflies Tour and visit Monkey Hill (4pm – 11pm)
Firefly Kuala Selangor
You can reach this great attraction within 2 hours drive from the city center of Kuala Lumpur. The firefly park gives refuge to one of the biggest firefly colonies in the world. Kuala Selangor is a small fishing village northwest of Kuala Lumpur. When night falls, the fireflies will feed on the nectar of the leaves and attract mates with their synchronised flashing green light.
Silver Leaf Monkeys (Bukit Melawati)
On enroute to Kuala Selangor, stopover visit Monkey Hill at Bukit Melawati. There are many monkeys from the species called Silver Leaf and Long Tail Macaques. They roam freely in this park and will not hesitate to come near you if you have food for them. You will be able to see many visitors feeding the monkeys bread, rambutans and nuts. The adult Silver Leaf Monkeys are dark-haired whereas the young ones have a distinctive bright orange-haired all over the body. They are more gentle in nature compared to the Long Tail Macaques.
